Stamps during the first 100th anniversary classification is as follows:

  • Spanish classics: Stamps issued in the 19TH century, from 1850 to 1899. The use of the stamps in Spain was established in the Royal Decree of 240 October 1849, as payment of postage and rights of certificate of correspondence. The first issue of stamps of Spain was put into circulation on January 1, 1850, an engraving by Bartolomé Corominas representing profile Queen Isabel II and whose purpose was that of a letter postage to any national destination with a maximum weight of 1/2 ounce (7.12 grams)
